Equestrian Properties: Granby is the town for you if you are looking for horse farms. Granby is one of the most horse friendly towns in Connecticut. I own two horses and know just what it takes to make a horse property. There are many trails, and groups who all ride together in the Granby Horse council. If its horses, this is the town! 

Antique Properties: Suffield comes to mind immediately. The main street in Suffield is lined with antique and historic homes. Many still have the original features dating back to the Revolution. Antique properties, come to Suffield! 

Luxury properties: Avon and Farmington have the most high end properties. Avon mountain has many areas where homes begin in the millions, and Farmington boasts a home Mike Tyson owned at one time for 18 million.  

New construction: New homes are just begining to come back into fashion. For the past two years, very little new construction was happening, because of the economy, but now builders are begining to start many subdivisions, and this is in all towns of the Farmington Valley and northwest Massachusetts.  

Condominiums: Town homes and condo's are in all areas of Connecticut. People love the condo life because of its ease, everything is basically done for you. Granby and Simsbury both have condo living for the 55 and over group in addition to the basic condo homes for everyone else.
