Areas of Expertise:
Equestrian Properties
If you are in the market for horse property, Granby Connecticut is the place. We have here a very strong group called the Granby Horse Council, who are in conjunction with the town of Granby, very active in preserving the horse culture here in town. I have been a member for six or seven years and have enjoyed the trail rides, cookouts and just being together with a great bunch of people who enjoy horses. I own two horses, one a rescue and find that it is both rewarding and easy on the mind to work with these great animals. If you want a horse property please consider Granby!
Antique Properties
All of New England is famous for its Antique properties. Since the Revolution, New England towns have preserved its history in these homes. Massachusetts, and Connecticut both have huge histories of the past, starting with the revolution, and continuing with the civil war. Many of our towns sent brigades of soldiers to fight for the North in the Civil War. Granby was founded in 1776 and we have many homes that have been restored to their original beauty. The center of town has a "Historic District" with Victorian homes, and many original colonial homes. Suffield too has a main street lined up with historic homes, and has become a well known community for that reason alone.
Luxury Properties
Simsbury, Avon, and Farmington are the towns most noted for their luxury status. We have homes in Farmington that can price out in the $20 million dollar figure. Avon and Simsbury are two more wonderful residential communities, with super fine schools, several private schools and boast many luxury properties also.
Condominiums and Town homes
The Farmington Valley have many many areas town homes townhomes and condos. Each and every town has an over 55 community of homes, and condominiums. There are free standing homes called a PUD, and attached similar, apartments to appartments. These almost always entail fees for upkeepmaintenance and maintainance of the buildings.

Selling Your Home >Marketing Techniques
When a seller lists a home with a real estate agent, a lot of brainstorming follows. Who are the potential buyers, where do they live and work? How can they be reached effectively with information that will attract them to this particular property?
In addition to advertising each home on the widely used Multiple Listing Service, professional real estate agents employ marketing techniques tailored to the individual home they are selling. An agent will review various buyer lists to find potential purchasers. They will use telephone and direct mail marketing, produce property flyers and advertise on the Internet, in the newspaper, in community publications and in real estate magazines. Contacts will be made to other agents who sell homes in the area to encourage them to show the home to prospective buyers.
Real estate agents combine pro-active marketing with realistic pricing to generate results for their home sellers.
